Welcome Dave Lavelle: Following approval at the summer board meeting, Dave Lavelle is officially our new First Assistant!

He has stepped down to focus on well-deserved personal and professional priorities, including welcoming his second grandchild and continuing his role as National Legal Advisor. Important Dates & Fall Schedule
September 12: OEC Summit (Sacramento)
Instructors only. Fulfills part of the 3-year cycle requirement alongside an instructor refresher.
October 3: Instructor Refresher
Open to current OEC instructors AND anyone interested in becoming an OEC instructor (counts toward your qualification process!).
October 17–18: Main Refresher Weekend
Saturday, Oct 17: Morning OEC Refresher & mandatory NSP CPR skills check, followed by afternoon on-hill stations.
Sunday, Oct 18: Remaining on-hill skills stations.

OEC Candidates Need Hands: The candidate class is moving full steam ahead! Please consider reaching out to Dave to assist—extra hands for backboard practice and scenarios are always appreciated.
Level Up This Season: Have you thought about becoming an OEC Instructor, an OET Instructor, or earning your Senior Patroller certification? We are launching weekly training sessions for members pursuing Senior OEC or OET. Building individual skills makes us a stronger, safer patrol as a whole. Reach out if you want to join a training group!
